Kost Studio joins EIT Food's Seedbed Venture Catalyst Programme for 2026-2028
Kost Studio is named an EIT Food Seedbed Venture Catalyst partner for 2026-2028
One of seven partners across Europe selected to turn early food science into investable companies.
We are excited to share that Kost Studio has been named an EIT Food Seedbed Venture Catalyst partner for 2026-2028, one of just seven organisations across Europe chosen to build agrifood ventures from the ground up.
We have always believed that turning research into a real food company takes more than good science. It takes someone to carry the work the rest of the way.
That is exactly what Seedbed Venture Catalyst is designed to fix, and what we have been doing since 2023, when we joined forces with the VC fund Kost Capital to build a venture model that has already spun out four food companies in a single year, including Luvi Bio, REST and BlueCell Bio.
What the partnership means
Over the next three years, Kost Studio will work as a co-founder from the very start of selected projects, running research sprints and testing early ingredients through pilot-scale production, the same way we have built every company in our portfolio so far.
Why it matters
We're proud to be recognised as one of the partners best placed to help European food science become European food companies.
If you have an idea that hasn't found its way out of the lab yet, this is exactly what we're here for.
